NHDS - Telemetry and Remote Monitoring

NHDS are an application-based engineering company providing design and development expertise in the telecommunications sector. We specialise in providing remote monitoring, asset tracking and traffic management solutions, using a combination of off-the-shelf products and bespoke system designs tailored to our customers’ specific requirements.

We currently have over 13,000 units monitoring remote equipment. They afford our customers the ability to collect and analyse data from various sources such as electricity meters, water meters, waste compactors, generators, alarm systems, and circuit protection devices. Our range of remote monitoring products can provide information such as power usage, water demand, relay operations, power outage duration and PIR activity.

We also provide the facility for GPS location and tracking on designated equipment where customers have a requirement for more detailed asset management. Our telecommunications expertise extends over GSM, GPRS and 3G, as well as Web based technologies.

In addition, we have a long history in the design and manufacture of devices which control the electronic signs used on the UK motorway network. Our Sign Drivers enable the Highways Agency to simplify the complexities of traffic management on many major trunk roads.
