Messenger Systems - Messenger RSSI Measurement Kit

The Messenger RSSI measurement kit is a useful commissioning and diagnostics tool. It comprises a 7 segment display and lead, plugged into the Messengers Configuration Port.

The Messenger will display the modems' RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) in 8 steps, 0-7, in a similar fashion to the signal strength bars on a mobile telephone.

This useful tool allows simple equipment siting to be carried out and may be used in conjunction with a variety of external antennas to enhance GSM coverage in difficult reception areas.
